Walmart

Walmart has recently posted its corporate coupon policy on its website:  http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx.  It is a good idea to carry the policy with you when you go shopping.  However, the coupon policy doesn't cover every possible scenario and the store managers have discretion in how they enforce it.

Buy One Get One Free (B1G1) Coupons
The Pullman Walmart allows shoppers to use a B1G1 free coupon with a "cents off" coupon.  For example: WhoNu cookies were recently on sale for $2 and I was able to use a B1G1 free and a $1 coupon making my Out of Pocket price $1 for both boxes of cookies.

(2) boxes WhoNu Cookies:  $4
Use (1) B1G1 coupons: -$2
Use (1) $1 coupon: -$1
Total OOP: $1

Price Matching
The Pullman Walmart also allows shoppers to price match an item to another store's price.  So, if the WhoNu cookies were $.50 at Safeway, I would have been able to price match to Safeway and then used my $1 coupon and then I would have had a .50 credit, which I could apply to other groceries or receive back as change.

(1) box WhoNu Cookies:  $2
Price Match to Safeway: $.50
Use (1) $1 coupon: -$1
Total OOP: -$.50
